Ultraplanes Timeline

Chronology of key events at the top of the Great Funnel and beyond, where reality stops making promises.

Before Time	The Ultraplanes exist as the “beneath” of reality: annihilative dark space beyond the Outer Planes.
3022	The Great Funnel (Discontinuity) is created as a hidden containment void at the center of the planes.
3023	First-time activation of Time triggers immediate [x9] being ascensions; safeguards throw the new Super‑Gods into the Great Funnel.
3023	Containment stress creates micro-discontinuities across the Multiverse: Spheres of Annihilation (gateways into the Funnel’s infinite “below”).
3024	A few escaped [x9] beings recreate Time (in the Astral) and steal Shelf artifacts; the Codex of the Infinite Planes becomes an [x10] artifact placed beyond gates.
3036	The Originators merge with the project as [x20] beings and begin planar exploration, including the Funnel and what lies beyond it.
4319	An Ultraplanar [x9] being proposes building new Multiverses “out here” (within the Ultraplanes); nested Multiverse construction begins.
Late Era	Ultraplanes are recognized as Sphere-of-Annihilation material; surviving a Sphere allows entry and travel between distant Funnels.
Late Era	At the center: the PreAscended Ones sit around the Cog (the only object to survive creation), attended by annihilation-born servitors.
Late Era	Ultraplanar encounter ecology develops: Ultraplanar Cows (observers), Bulls (guards), Intelligent Spheres, and Visitors.
Late Era	The Spire’s interior is understood as a Funnel; near the top, Smileylich maintains his office and reconnects broken silver cords via “hemp rope.”
9914	The [x14] Big Gun is fired into the Ultraplanes; the shot becomes a recorded benchmark for Ultraplanar reach.
